PANCAKE QUIZ
When was the first pancake race, and how big was the world's largest pancake? Find the answers to these questions and more in our definitive pancake-themed quiz!
This is a really good way to get everyone involved – including children. It also gently introduces some biblical references which could help you segue into the talk.
Download and print the quiz sheet ahead of time. On the night, split the room into small teams. Designate one quiz-master to read out the questions, while each team notes down their answers.
When it comes to going through the answers, we've included some extra trivia which add a few more surprising facts to the mix!
You may wish to play for a prize, or simply "just for fun".

Break the ice with one of our pancake-themed party games – or invent your own!
Pancake toss
Provide two to three participants with a frying pan and pancake each. Set a timer for 1 minute and see how many times they can toss their pancakes! Repeat with another batch of players if there are other willing competitors.
Pancake on the head
If your venue has enough space, a pancake themed race is a great way to work up an appetite (or burn off all those extra calories!) To minimise the mess, we suggest you cut up some old boxes and create cardboard pancakes. The winner is the first person to successfully negotiate the course whilst keeping the ‘pancake’ on their head.
